David O'Neil

David "Irish" O'Neil, 66, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Bright Kavanagh House, after an extended battle with heart disease.

David was born January 16, 1947, in Green Bay, WI, to John and Lorraine O'Neil.

David is survived by his wife, Paulette O'Neil; son, John P (Nikki) O'Neil; daughter, Jennifer (Curt) O'Neil-Stumberg; sister, Patti (Mark) Vander Heiden; sister, Peggy (John) Loch; sister, Kitty (Keith) Garsow; and brother, Mike O'Neil; along with eleven nieces and nephews, three great-nieces and nephews, and his loyal companion, Gizmo.

There will be no funeral as he has donated his body to the University of Iowa for medical education and research. Memorial services are pending and will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Bright Kavanagh House.
