My condolences to the Christian Family. Sorry to read about the loss of your loved one. May the hope of Psalms 34:18 bring the family much comfort during this time, Gods word assures us that he sees the difficulties and hard times that we go through. He will help you and your family in this time of sorrow. Psalms 46:1 tells us that God is a refuge and strength for us. We can also look forward to a time when death will be no more (Revelation 21: 3, 4) and a promise from our Heavenly Father Jehovah that those in their memorial tombs will here Jesus voice and come out, they will be resurrected back to earth (John 5:28,28). Taking in accurate knowledge of the living God Jehovah assures us better times ahead. For more information on the hope for those we have lost in death go to jw.org.

I was terribly sorry to hear of Dewey's passing. I only met him a few times when we would be at places where Brian was signing, but I know he was a wonderful man by the way his son turned out.

We are so sorry for your loss, Lora, Brian, Deb, Abbey and Adam. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
What a special person God called Home. I guess He needed another beautiful voice to help the Angels sing in Heaven. Dewey was such a wonderful influence to everyone. He was so kind, compassionate, loving, helpful and always ready with a hug. I always looked forward to church because he was always so wonderful and I knew I would see a smile that just made you feel good.. He always made sure to encourage my husband to sing in the choir. I remember his beautiful voice and that he was always willing to help out. I know we will see him again, but we just lost one of the great ones! Dewey was just so special. I still can't believe it. Until we meet again....

I'm sorry for your loss. I live on a farm near Elk Horn, IA and Dewey used to spend a lot of time here at the farm with my husband, John when they were teenagers. Did Dewey graduate from Elk Horn High School? I remember him singing "Old Man River" at a school concert! He had a good voice. His sister,Doris was married to Hans Hansen, an uncle of my husband. My husband passed away in 2006. I wish they had kept in touch. My prayers are with you.
Sincerely, Barb Jacobsen

Dewey was always a positive person and always willing to help a person out. His giving to his community and church are things I will always remember. Growing up with him as an example of how to lead your life, full of fun and love for your neighbor are what makes some of us better people for knowing him. My love and gratitude to him and my love and condolences to Lora and Brian and his family.

Dewey,
Was like a second father to me. He was my best friends dad, and growing up I got to spend time with the family.... it was always full of laughs and fun. He knew how to smile, laugh and make you feel right at home. He taught us kids alot about right and wrong and was a Great youth leader at our church when we were younger (Brats).
"Heaven just got another ANGEL".....
You will be missed but NOT Forgotten!! I look forward to spending eternity in Heaven with you someday.... My prayers and thoughts are with Lora, Brian, Deb, Abby and Adam. God Bless each of you.
