Bob Williamson

Bob Williamson, 38, passed away Monday June 3, 2013, at his home in Des Moines of an apparent heart attack. He was born November 11, 1974, in Annapolis, Maryland, the son of Deb Taylor and Denny Williamson.

Bob graduated from Ankeny High School in 1993, and worked in the carpet industry for several years. Bob enjoyed getting tattoos, listening to music and watching movies. Most of all, Bob was a great father and loved spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his wife, Amanda; son, Ashtyn; mother, Deb (Rick) Taylor; father, Denny (Kathy) Williamson; brother, Mike (Kendra) Williamson; step-brothers, Jeremy (Kristy) Taylor and Ben Taylor; nieces, Tori and Leya; nephew, Harrison; grandfather, Charlie (Janet) Williamson; step-grandmother, Dee Day; uncles, Michael Williamson, Marty (Lisa) Williamson, Dennis (Cathy) Harrison, and Dana (Kate) Harrison; and many cousins and beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Harrison and Gene and Joan Rush.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines. The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Bob.
