Cyndi J. Hickle, 56, passed away June 1, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center.
Cyndi was born July 11, 1956, in Santa Ana, California. She was a childcare provider for many years. Cyndi enjoyed movies, concerts, and live theater with her husband. She loved spending time with family, reading, and shopping.
Cyndi is survived by her husband of 23 years, Steve Hickle; step-father, Red Shields, who raised her; father, Fred (Audra) Wilson; sisters, Karen (Tim) Leonard, Kathi Hill, Brenda Howel, and Bev Zinzer; three step-sisters; seven nieces and nephews; eleven great-nieces and great-nephews; and all of the children whom she took care of over the years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Shields.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Steve, I didn't really know Cyndi, but your beautiful words about your relationship brought tears to my eyes and heart. What a terrible, sudden loss. My sincere sympathy to you and your family,
