Eloise Benefiel, 88, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, at her home.
Eloise was born August 15, 1924, in Stonington, Illinois, to Charles and Louise Schoning. She enjoyed quilting, country music, and spending time with family.
Eloise is survived by her children, Ronnie (Lillie) Benefiel, Lura (Bruce) Wolfe, Kenny (Kim) Benefiel, Wayne (Laurie) Benefiel, Keith Benefiel, Pam Hernandez, and Mike (Kelly) Benefiel, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merl, daughters, Nancy and Claudia Jean “Jeannie,” and her infant son, Larry Donelson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Sorry to learn of your Mothers passing. I lived next door to your parents Eloise and Merl in the '50's. We enjoyed a lot of good times together. I pray you will be encouraged each day. Trust the Lord, He is faithful. I am sending all of my sympathy.

To the Family of Eloise you are all in my heart and my prayers. your momma/grandma was a wonderful woman who never complained about a thing and always had a smile on her face.
