Charlotte, 89, passed away May 24, 2013, at Bright Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines. She was born August 31, 1923, in Marquisville.
Charlotte was an active charter member of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, golfing and working outdoors gardening flowers in her yard.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Edward Jr., Steven (Debbie) Udrovich, Annette Leth; grandchildren, Tony Udrovich, Mike Udrovich, Mary Kathryn Harrell, Jennifer Udrovich, Christina Whistler, Amanda Aplin, Nicole Leth; as well as four great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a 7:00 vigil on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church, 510 E 1st Street, Ankeny. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at the church with burial to follow at Ankeny Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa or Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in loving memory of Charlotte.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I too enjoyed many visits to Carney, enjoyed your mother & father. They will be sorely missed. If there is possibly anything I may do, please let me know.

To the Udrovich Family I am so sorry for your loss. I am glad to have grown up in Carney with your Mom and dad they were two of the kindest people I had the pleasure to know. Charlotte had the sweetest smile and I'm sure she is smiling down from heaven she will be missed.
