Dottie "Arlene" Brown

Dottie “Arlene” Brown, 92, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at Fleur Heights Care Center.

Dottie was born December 25, 1920, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Edward and Esta May Robertson. She retired in 1985 from Tension Envelope in Kansas City, Missouri.

Dottie is survived by her children, Jack (Marian) Rheuport, Connie Groves, and Ward Hawkins-Rheuport; brother, Russell Robertson; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Brown, son-in-law, Burton Groves, and her brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
