Teondra L. Wells

Teondra L. Wells, 30, was born January 27, 1983, in Des Moines, and passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, at her home.

Teondra overcame a tremendous amount of adversity in her life and handled the trials and tribulations she faced with grace. She was outgoing, loved to sing and be the center of attention. Above all, Teondra loved her family and was very family oriented.

Teondra is survived by her father, Bernard “Dino” Hunley; children, Jahsiah D. Hardat, Jaeden Altina Wells, and Janiesha LaShay Griffin; brothers, Tyson R. and Douglas C. Wells; grandmother, Allies L. Russell; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Tina L. Wells.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Faith Church of the Nazarene, 1501 22nd Street in Des Moines.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to provide for her children’s future.
