Gene Young

Gene L. Young, 67, of Indianola passed away on Wednesday July 11, 2007. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 14 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. The visitation will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. 5400 S.W. 9th Street. Gene will be cremated following the funeral service.
Gene was born to Lyle and Dolores Young on January 20, 1940. He became a minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Gene is survived by his wife; RuthAnne. Daughters: Robin (Thom) Tuttle, Diana Jo (Rusty) Boggs, Stacy (Troy) Addy, and four Grandchildren, Brother; Roy Young, Sister; Sharon Gibson. Gene was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Gene was dearly loved by so many people and he will be greatly missed. The memories that we have will be with us forever.
