Daniel Kiefer

Daniel Lee Kiefer was born June 19, 1955 in Des Moines, the son of Frank and Algaretta (Ault) Kiefer, and passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at his home. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St., with burial to follow at Cory Grove Cemetery in Elkhart, Iowa.
Dan is survived by his sons, Mason and Taylor Kiefer; his mother, Algaretta Beeler; his siblings, Dick (Bev) Kiefer, Doug (Deb) Kiefer, Bonnie (David) Tracy, Susan (Arthur) McLeran, and David (Kelli) Kiefer, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Kiefer; his step-father, Chuck Beeler; sister, Janet McFadden and brother, Donnie Kiefer.
The family will greet friends from 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Dan.
