We are so very sorry to hear of Nancy's passing. We are her neighbors around the corner. We will sure miss our chats as she passed by with "Sweetie". Our girls always referred to her as the "flower lady" as we have always enjoyed walking by her home on our walks and taking a moment to appreciate her hard work. Our deepest sympathies to you!

My son had Mrs. Bork when he went to Norwoodville. I remember her as a kind but stern teacher. I have spoken to her since he was in her class and she always remembered him. She will be missed.

Nancy was 6 years older than I and lived next door. Her parents, Charlie and Wilma, had the most beautiful garden in their backyard and I spent many hours with Nancy there - she was so very very nice to me and I must have been quite a pest!
My condolences to her husband and family.

Dear Cathy and Tom.. I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Surely some gardens needed tending up in heaven!
We were neighbors in the Indian Creek area for many years. Nancy helped me with my garden, my pets and even parenting ideas! I loved her spunk and her bright smile. You must know how much she loved you two kids and all her lovely grandkids. She was a woman of faith and I know that you will be reunited again some day. Blessings to you all.

Cathy and Tom,
Thank you for allowing me to care for your mother. In such a short time I knew what a wonderful person she was. She was so fortunate to have you two as her children and your dedication to her. My thoughts and prayers are with you both along with your families on this day.

I am saddened to hear of Nancy's death. I have many memories of her as we worked together on the Saydel Education Association. I remember her as a fighter, full of spunk. She was a mentor to me, often modeling how to voice an opinion passionately, but respectfully. She paved the way for teachers' rights.

I went to Perkins, Franklin and Roosevelt with Nancy. She will always be the girl with the beautiful french braids in my memory. I saw Nancy last at the 40th high school reunion, it was a pleasure. I offer my heartfelt condolences to Nancy's family.

She was fun and certainly an asset to our group...very dedicated., nose to the grindstone I am so appreciative of the time we spent together. I have some really good memories now and that , I'm sure, was her final gift to me. She won't be forgotten.
