Gary worked with me in Florida for a few years. He also bought product from us for many years afterwards. He was a great and loyal man. He always wanted to know how my family was doing, a really special man. I wish I had known about this earlier, but he will be missed just the same. His family was very important to him, I remember that. Just a sweetheart of a man. God rest his soul. Peace to you and your family.

Dear Kathi I lost touch with you so long ago, and had forgotten the spelling of your last name so never could find you, then I came across Summer and Shocky's face book pages, it suddenly hit me how many Shocky's could there be not that many when you type into Facebook. So I went looking for you and found this with Gary, I am so so very sorry to hear Gary has passed away, but look forward to seeing him in paradise. I still have such fond memories of you all in Forrestville California, and how sweet lil Summer was I still laugh and tell the story of the only time in my life I was a princess, as Summer thought that because I wore pink heels and ruffled bobby socks LOL it was the eighties we all dressed strange lol.....she was so cute !! I remember the beautiful dresses you made her with all the many layers and touches, when I had my two girls I sewed their dresses and often thought of you when doing so. I often got roped in by friends so would be making 4-5 matching dresses for the girls and their friends. I want to send my sincerest love and shock and sorrow At you losing Gary. I lost my father in 2006 and my mother lives with my husband and I and our 4 kids, we moved together shortly before my fathers passing they were 2 weeks shy of 45 yrs married, and the hardship on her was great, so I do not say I know what you are feeling but I have been there to support my mom in dealing with my fathers absence, just want you to know I know it is a huge loss, and adjustment I am thinking of you. Hope this finds you well and safe and loved within Jehovah's congregation. Much love Kathy Linford (Gibbon)

To all of Gary's family. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. May Jehovah keep you all in his arms of comfort. Memories of Gary and his brothers and sisters when we were all young and growing up in Des Moines. We didn't have the opportunity to spend time with the family as our lives carried us all off to different places. But seeing him again in later years always brought a smile. Again know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Agape,

To Kathi, your children, Jon, Myrna, Jack, Ron, Sandy, as well as all the other family. We were both surprised and saddened to hear about Gary. He will be remembered as someone who tried to bring a smile and laughter wherever he went. John has good memories of the two of them volunteering to serve together at the assemblies and conventions when they were young. More importantly he will remain in Jehovah's memory; as one who faithfully ran his race to the finish. When the fulfillment of Jehovah's resurrection promise becomes a reality we will be reunited with so many of our loved ones and friends. We are so fortunate to have that sure hope~let it comfort you all at this time. Know that you are in our hearts and prayers, Christian love from us both, John & Vicki
