James Moen

James Moen, 72, passed away peacefully January 1, 2013, in Yuma, Arizona. There will be a celebration of life service at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines.

James was born July 13, 1940, to James and Violet Moen. He retired from Firestone after 35 years working as a mechanic. James is survived by his sons, Todd and Heidi Moen, and Jeff (Cindy); his grandchildren, Cody, T.J., Danielle, Austin, Delainee, Trey, and Chase; his great granddaughter, Emmalea; and his sister, Janet. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Moen, and Violet and Harold Mitsven; his wife, Karen; and his granddaughter, Elizabeth.
