Our sincere condolences to the extended family of my Uncle Bill. He was a fine man and I always enjoyed his cheerful attitude, willing smile and his full attention when I spoke to him. As a fellow veteran, I and deeply grateful for his service during WWII as part of "The Greatest Generation".

Karen, Bob and Alex and Jon:
I am so sorry for your loss. Kare... as you know, I lost my father a year ago and losing a parent is never easier; However, I was so happy to get to spend the last couple years of his life listening to his stories from the past and his WWII experiences. I hope your family got to do the same. It will be something you will treasure. May you all have wonderful, joyful memories of "dad, father-in-law, grandfather" to last a lifetime. P.S. Kare... I didn't know you had an Aunt Wilma!! Sincerely, Wilma Porter, Court Reporter
