Francis Knode, Jr., 43, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Francis was born February 3, 1970, in Des Moines, to Francis, Sr., and Sharon (Baker) Knode. He enjoyed fishing and Tae Kwon Do, and was an avid Iowa Hawkeye, Iowa Cubs, and Chicago Cubs fan. Francis was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Francis is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Maria; parents, Francis and Sharon Knode; brothers, Paul and Kenny; grandmother, Betty Baker; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Aaron Baker; uncle, Lloyd Baker; grandparents, Harley and Gleneva Knode; and his father-in-law, Roberto Del Rosario.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 4, 2013, at Grace United Methodist Church, 3700 Cottage Grove Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, at the church.
