Lilyann Dissinger

Lilyann Dissinger passed away on Friday, April 26, 2013, at Kavanagh House in Des Moines. Lilyann was born on June 5, 1935, in Des Moines, to Grace (Gordon) and Fred Dissinger.
Lilyann retired after 40 years with Equitable Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Park Avenue Christian Church, TTT Society, and the “Wednesday Group.”
Those left to cherish her loving memory are her nieces, Colleen (Gary) Enslow, Denise (Don) Paxton, and Pennie Dissinger; nephew, Dennis (Karen) Dissinger; eleven great nieces and nephews; four great-great niece and nephews; and a large community of loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Gerald.
Family will greet friends from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A Memorial Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening at the funeral home. An Inurnment will take place on June 5, 2013, at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be left to Park Avenue Christian Church in memory of Lilyann.

Iwas terribly sorry to hear that Lilyanne has passed away, i knew her from times past when we bowled together with Peg Dowler / Jeanne Tometich/ Opal Snicker, she will be missedby her friend and family.

The passing of Lilyann will be touched by all those who knew her. Glenn/Kate Dissinger McFarland were Rosalie's In-Laws and my Grandparents. We will miss Cousin Lilyann very much.

Was saddened to read of the death of Lil. Was acquainted with her years ago and saw her several times recently at basketball games. She was a lovely person, and I know she will be missed by all who knew her.

Cousin to Lilyann and Gerald Dissinger. Grace Dissinger was my aunt. Lillyann and I exchanged Xmas and Bday greetings. Lilyann looked into her mother's notes re my Grandpa's RR travels for me. I will really miss Lilyann.
