David was so caring, and very smart. He could look at something from a different perspective and give you a whole new understanding. He was a very deep thinker, and a good person to visit with about spiritual things. He was always searching for the truth, and questioned what didn't make sense. He loved to cook, and was quite good at it. I am so thankful to God that I got to reconnect with him during these last couple of years. He was my closest friend, and like a brother to me. His sense of humor and ability to tell stories in a funny way made us all laugh. I will miss him very much, as will my wife and children. In his last couple of years, he has left some very good memories that will live on in our hearts.

I am praying for the family during this time. I am thankful for the friendship I have with his family and especially his sister, Jody. I will always remember the times I visited them in their home, David always make me laugh.

David was such a great guy to know and always had a way to make us smile despite any personal circumstances in his life. He was the first person I ever knew that had diabetes and helped me to understand more about it and why I should be thankful every day for all that God provides. I am deeply sorrowed to hear of his passing.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I went to school with David while they lived in Sioux City. He was always such a fun loving guy and enjoyed making people laugh! Remember all the love and joy you shared as you go through the days ahead.

Thinking of your family during this time. David grew up across the street from our family, and we went to school together. Praying God gives you all comfort and peace.

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers. David was a great guy. I remember his dry sense of humor. May you find comfort in knowing that David is pain free and is at peace. God Bless You!

My heart is sad to hear David has passed. He grew up with me, was one of my brother's best friends . I loved him like a brother and have so many memories together as though he was family. He is in a peaceful place now. He will forever live in my heart.
