Service Details
Martha R. Lundgren, 71, passed away on February 14, 2013, at Harlingen Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. A graveside service and burial will be held 11 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2013, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.
Martha was born February 20, 1941, in Des Moines, to John and Eunice Henry. She was a retired registered nurse. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her friends in Texas, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gary; children, Kelly (Paul) Williamson, Jill (Todd) King, and Scott (Karianne) Lundgren; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara Halleck, Richard Henry, Neal Henry, and Christy Jones.

I would like to again offer my sympathy to you, Kelly, Jill, and Scott along with their families for your loss. I think of you all often and remember the good times.
Martha was like a sister to me for many years and we shared many many things.
Derek said you was going to contact me when you got home, but I guess you changed your mind.
I had a real bad fall last night and am not able to come.
Tell Dick and Cindy, Barb, Christy and Neal hi for me.

So sorry to hear about Martha. Many fond memories of sitting in her kitchen, I can still hear her vivacious laugh. She was a great storyteller. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
