Service Details
Danni was called home on April 11, 2013, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, April 15, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until service time on Monday. Burial will follow the service at Oralabor Cemetery in Ankeny.
Danni was born March 22, 1954, in Marshalltown. She moved to Des Moines in 1995 where she worked as a nurse. Danni will be remembered most for her giving spirit, as she never turned anyone in need away.
Danni is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Brittany and Nicholas; mother; three sisters; one brother; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews

I was so sorry to hear about Danni's illness and subsequent passing. I have many memories of times spent with Danni. I am fortunate to have known her and through my friendship with her sister, Sheila, to have shared a lot of laughs and good times. Rest in peace Danni ( Sandy)..you will truly be missed.

Since my mother passed away in the Iowa State University Hospital I make it my mission to reach out to families who lost "loved ones". Reading about Ms. Sandy Riddle it's obvious she was a very loving and caring human being. The world was a better place because she was here. My condolences to you the family and her friends. May you find comfort and assurance in the bible at John 5:28,29. The Harris Family
