Leonard Jack Davis Jr., 47, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
Leonard was a lifelong resident of Des Moinesand retired from marketing at D.C. Associates. His passion was music and playing the guitar. He played for and entertained many people and enjoyed telling stories, making people laugh, and bringing a smile to their faces.
Leonard is survived by his mother, Beverly Davis of Johnston, IA; fiancé, Laurie Erdahl of Des Moines, IA; siblings, Dave Davis of New Virginia, IA, Julie Kiefer of Johnston, IA, Charles Williams of Des Moines, IA, Pam Henricks of Broken Arrow, OK, and Sheral Whisenhunt of Broken Arrow, OK. He is preceded in death by his Father, Leonard Davis and Brother, Robert (Lenny) Williams. He also leaves behind numerous family and friends. Leonard was a blessing to be around, and is truly loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:30 p.m., at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines, IA.

Beverley,and family leonard was a good friend and co worker at cpals and family member allways had me laughing he had a sweet smile..i will miss him much.

I am so sorry to hear Leo is gone he had a great sense of humor and loved the great times at D. C. Associates. Going to miss his stories and him teasing us. Sending thoughts and prayers to all yall!!!

Aunt Bev and Family, We are so sorry to hear of Leonard Jrs. passing. We extend our sympathy and condolences to you his mother, his siblings and to his fiance'. I lost my daughter Joy five years ago, so I know some of what your pain feels like. God will be your Great Comforter, He was to me! Please be comforted. (I'm Juanita's daughter Joyce)
