Karen Thede, 70, died Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Methodist Medical Center. She was born February 6, 1943, in Des Moines, to John and Faye Moore.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Annette Blasnitz; son, Travis Thede; grandchildren, Dillon, Damion, and Hunter; and sister in law, RuthAnn Moore She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell E. Thede, and her brother, Berdette Dee Moore.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3223 University Avenue.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
