Bonnie B. West, 90, was born February 13, 1923, in Dallas City, Illinois, the daughter of Ralph and Connie (Koop) Buhrmaster. She passed away peacefully Monday, April 2, 2013.
Bonnie retired from John Deere after 20 years of faithful service.
Bonnie is survived by her children, Connie Parkins, Greg (Lynda) West, and Gary (Mary) West; grandchildren, Kelley (Tim) Petticord, Dennis (Dianna) West, Sallie West (Terry), Cydney West, Greg (Carole) Coady, Jim Coady, John Coady, and Tammy West; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Bob, Sally, and Fred Buhrmaster; other loving relatives, and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Andy West; daughter, Linda West; grandson, Dusty Parkins; and four siblings.
The family will greet friends from 4-8 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW. Cremation will follow the visitation and private inurnment will take place at the Altoona Cemetery at a later date.

Connie, Gary and Greg, we are all so saddened by the loss of Bonnie, but remember all the joyful times she brought to us all. Our prayers are with you. I (Fred) still laugh at some of the happy times we had together. She will be missed greatly. Fred &Carol

Gary and Mary, we are both very sorry for your loss, I've heard many stories from Gary over the years about his mom. She sounded like somebody I would have enjoyed meeting and chatting with. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both. John & Pauline
