Tara Sue Leitzinger

Tara Sue Leitzinger, 30, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, after fighting hard for the last six weeks.

Tara was born August 9, 1982. She was a logistics operator for TMC Transportation for over five years. Tara lived by her “3 L” Motto; Live, Love, Laugh. Her legacy is that she was an organ donor and saved many lives through her gift. She will be remembered as sassy, fun, a great daughter, sister, friend, and an incredible mother.

Tara is survived by her son, Kadin Stutzman; mother, Bonnie Wright; father, Timothy Leitzinger; brother, Josh (Bethany) Leitzinger; nieces, Kaeli, Lexy, and Lainey Leitzinger; grandparents, Almyra Jones and Jim and Joyce Tharp; and many other extended relatives and friends.

Tara was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William Leitzinger and Ronald Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
