Marian Russell

Marian Louise Russell passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center. Funeral services will be 12 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street, with burial following at Elm Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, at the funeral home.

Marian was born on October 30, 1922, in Des Moines, to La Verne (Knapp) and Thomas Stanley.

Marian is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Steven) Penisten, Marge (Ron) Alley, and Kim (James) Puderbaugh; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas.
