Sarahjane F. Yoder

Sarahjane F. (McClish) Yoder, 83, of Des Moines, passed away of heart complications, Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, with her five children at her bedside.

Sarahjane was born August 13, 1929, in Des Moines, to George and Netti (Baldwin) McClish. She is survived by her children, Melody Hernandez, Marva Huizar and Ruby Leisgang, all of Des Moines, Mary McClish and William E. Yoder, II of New Philadelphia, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Yoder, whom she married on November 21, 1964; her parents; brothers, Lee and George; and half-brother, Richard.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., prior to the service Friday, at the funeral home.
