Marcella Matilda Fink

Marcella Matilda Fink, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Union Park Health Care Center.

Marcella was born July 5, 1925, in Des Moines, to Clarence and Beda (Johnson) Cunningham. She grew up in Berwick, Iowa, and later moved to Dows after marrying Richard Fink in 1948. She graduated from North High School in 1945. She was a homemaker and also worked at Grant’s Retail Store for 10 years, retiring in 1978. Marcella loved gardening, scratch tickets, and reading.

Marcella is survived by her children, Beda (Dan) Hobbs; Paul (Cindy) Fink and Lynette Gallegos; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Richard Fink.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
