Dominic Renzo

Dominic Renzo, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Veteran’s Hospital in Des Moines. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with burial following at Glendale Cemetery. A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street.

Dominic was born May 10, 1925 in Des Moines to Joseph and Costanza Renzo. He was a Marine Corps Veteran of WW II and an avid bowler and golfer.

Dominic is survived by his sisters, Elizabeth Acri and Theresa Renzo, both of Des Moines; nephews, Peter Lipovac of Idaho, Tony (Tamara) Renzo of New Mexico, Joe (Diane) Renzo and PJ Renzo of Des Moines; nieces, Julianne Naylor of Des Moines and Lisa Renzo of California. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank, Pete, Tony and sisters, Concetta Renzo and Rose Lipovac.
