Kelly Bishop

Kelly D. Bishop, 50, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

Kelly was born May 26, 1962, in Chariton, Iowa, to Donald Lee Bishop and Georgene Rae (Gerkey) Graydon. She worked at Qwest in the customer service department before her retirement in 2009. Kelly loved motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidsons, and was a very proud friend of Bill W.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Ortega and Sara Valdez; step-children, Nicholas and Albert, Jr.; father, Don Bishop; mother, Georgene Graydon; 11 grandchildren; and sisters, Tracey Bishop-Gosselin and Michelle Legler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Clausi; brother, Brian Bishop; grandmother, Theda Gerkey; and cousins, Doug and Willie Holmes.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
