Jerry R. Heimbaugh

Jerry R. Heimbaugh, 51, passed away March 17, 2013, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Jerry was born at Mercy Medical Center May 27, 1961, to Donald and Dixie Heimbaugh. He worked as a mechanic at various places in Des Moines. Jerry enjoyed go-kart racing, sprint car racing, fishing, and camping.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Pam Deerr; son, Jeremy (Brooke); daughter, Emily (Drew); parents, Donald and Dixie; granddaughter, Kendel; brothers, Jeff and Larry (Lori); sisters, Theresa (Ron) Dake and Melinda (Willis) Bales; and many other extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Jane.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home, with burial following at Rising Sun Cemetery.
