Tammie Warner

Tammie Warner passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Bright Kavanagh House with her family by her side.Tammie was born on January 28, 1959 in Albia, Iowa.

Tammie was employed for many years at ITS, Inc., where she met some of her amazing friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, family and friends. She volunteered for the Blue Ribbon Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation. She loved the Iowa State Fair, playing pool and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Celebration of Tammie’s Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Those left to celebrate Tammie’s life are her daughter, Nicole Warner (Daniel); her parents, Jeaneen and Ben Kain; her grandson, Nicholas; her 99 year old grandmother, Ilo Proctor; her sisters, Patty Raleigh (Joe) and Brenda McNear (Kelly); her brothers, Mike (Jo) Kain and Jeff (Lori) Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Norman Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation.
