Karen Lucia, 74, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Kavanagh on 56th St.
Karen was born June 28, 1938 in Des Moines to Woodrow and Margert (Olson) Lynn. She was employed at UPS in the Customer Service department for 25 years before her retirement.
Karen is survived by her husband, Rudy L. Lucia; daughter, Ronda (Andy) Frantz; sons, Randy and Rick Lucia; step-daughters, Debbie (Leonard) Thomas, Cris (Scott) Howard and Vickie Slater; sister, Joyce (Paul) Taylor; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

So sorry for your loss. Karen was always a special person to me, I worked with her @ UPS for years and she was a favorite co-worker of mine. She always had a great sense of humor and I will remember her always fondly. Thoughts and prayers are with her family in this time of loss.

My grandma Karen was the most amazing grandma ever, for my whole life she has been one of the most important people to me, I hope as a adult married women & mother to be half the caring women she was, love you grandma you always have and always will be an angel to me.Rip
