Isaac Stecker

Isaac Francis Stecker was born November 16, 2012, in Des Moines, the son of Mark and Amanda (Weiland) Stecker. He passed away March 13, 2013, and is now cradled in the arms of Jesus.

Although he was here on earth for such a short period of time, he truly touched many lives with his beautiful smile, blue eyes, and his crazy brown hair.

In addition to his parents, left to cherish his precious memory are his grandparents, Cheryl and Darrell Weiland, Mike and Becky Stecker and Deb and Cory Helphrey; great-grandparents, Donna and Larry Walter, Jacky Stecker, Don and JoEllen Howard, Larry Helphrey, and Dick Schall; aunts and uncles, Chad (Holly), B.J. (Kelly), Andy, Jamie (Matt), Ali, Jessi, and Kelli; cousins, Zoey, Zack, Greta, Ethan, and Sammy; other loving relatives; and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Stan Stecker, Roland and Ivanelle Weiland, Pat Schall, and Barb Helphrey.

The family will greet friends from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Sunday, March 17, 2013, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Road in Des Moines, where a vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 18, 2013, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Isaac.
