Nancy L. Lynn, 76, passed away at her home, Saturday, March 9, 2013, surrounded by her loving family from cancer. Se was born June 1, 1936, in Des Moines, and raised by her parents, William and Ada Carver.
Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for car dealerships for most of her life. She spent 13 years at Karl Chevrolet and most recently at the Airport Holiday Inn. Nancy was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW and American Legion. She participated in bowling and pool leagues and enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows.
Nancy is survived by her children, Karen (Brian Carbine) Deaton and Richard Davis Jr.; grandchildren, Michael, Rachel, Connar, Jimmy, and Raymond; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Joe Jr., and Austin; father, William D. Carver; and a host of other family and beloved friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ada; son, Joseph Hagenburger; brother, Richard; and sister, Dixie.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.

Nancy was a beautiful person that was a great mother and friend. She will be missed by anyone that knew her. You were very lucky to have her as a mother. Best wishes for all of you.

Nancy you are truley missed by all your family & friends. I know Sharon & I will miss you, we loved you and your good humor and will remember all the good times we had at the hotel. We loved hearing your bowling stories.
To her family, you are in my prayers but just remember all the good times & all the years you had with her. God bless you.

She will be truely missed but i know she in my heart and still watching over me from above. i truly loved you and thanks for all the great years we had togrther and thanks for being my mom you were the perfect mom in my eyes. love and miss you

I miss my friend but I'm sure she's in that big Bowling Centre in the sky right next to the casino. To her family I wish all the best. Just remember she will always be in your hearts and that cannot be erased.
