Marc Trost, 62, died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Broadlawns Medical Center.
Marc was born April 25, 1950, in Fort Dodge, to Shirley and Henry Trost. He worked at several jobs, and his last job was as a carpet layer.
Marc is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; sons, Peter and Adam; his daughter; his grandchildren; brother, Michael Trost of Fort Dodge; sister, Diane Trost of North Carolina; and his best friend, Mark Gadbury.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

One of Marcs classmates here. My most vivid memory of Marc: as a Biology partner, he was my hero in dissecting a frog he did all the dirty work! More so, I recall his livening up an otherwise boring class by his side remarks, bringing a smile, even now, at the thought of it. Remembering Dianne, Mike, and Nikki, I extend my deepest sympathies to you, as well as all of Marcs family. May each of you find peace in Gods loving embrace as you look to Him for comfort. He alone has kept me above water in my deepest times of sorrow. Shalom.

Dear Sarah, Peter, Adam, Nicole, Diane, Mike and family,
Our family sends prayers for healing and comfort. Please accept our deepest sympathies.
Marc was always so very kind to me - his little cousin. I have great memories from childhood - especially the time he gave me a ride on his Honda motorcycle when I was about 8 years old!! I was so fortunate to have such a cool big cousin.
At this difficult time, we hope and pray that you may find comfort in the knowledge that Marc has found peace in God's loving arms.

It's been a very long time since I've seen Marc. He and his family were a big part of my life growing up, and I cherish those days. My deepest sympathy to you, Sarah, and family. Peace be with you, a day at a time.

I will always remember back in the year 1961 when Marc, at the age of ten, served as a junior groomsmen in Nancy and my wedding. What memories. Your in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
