Hi Tom, You and the children have continued to be on the minds of Vern and me. It is a year now since we met you and Pam at Mayo. I have prayed for you so often. I pray that you are beginning to heal. We can only imagine the pain that you have experienced. I continue to do well with my cancer and treatment. I have completed chemo and radiation and will do hormonal therapy for five years. I pray for ongoing healing, and know that only Jesus and The Helper know the whole history of us all! I read a wonderful book by Catherine Marshall this summer, The Helper. The power of the Holy Spirit can sustain us, even when we wonder how we shall go on. We will continue to pray for you and your children for all of our lives Tom. We look forward to meeting with you and Pam in Glory. Thank you! Karen Johnson, South Range, WI

We are so very sorry to hear this sad news. We relocated to Des Moines last summer and Pam was our first contact in the area. She worked so very hard, always with a smile, to help two strangers find the perfect home. She even greeted our family with a batch of cookies knowing it would be a long day of house hunting!! Clearly that was just the kind of person she was. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was saddened to hear about Pam. I worked with her at Burger King in high school. I also had the opportunity to go to bible camp with her and her sisters. I haven't seen her in years but will never forget how strong she was in her faith! She was beautiful inside and out ! May you find peace knowing she is dancing with our lord and savior!

Our deepest condolences to all of Pam's family and loved ones. I remember Pam so well in 8th grade, and in 9th grade at Grandview. I remember smiles and more smiles! Pam had such an excellent and sweet spirit. Her smiles and personality always lit up the room, reflecting her excellent family life and upbringing, and most of all, her Savior. We greatly look forward, with tears of sorrow, and with tears of joy, to seeing Pam again someday where we will be with her again in the presence of our Lord! Our prayers are with all of Pam's family and loved ones.
