Regina K. Pilcher

Regina “Ginny” K Pilcher, 62, lifelong resident of Des Moines, died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Oakland Group Home in Des Moines. She loved everyone she met. She was loved in return.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 11:15 a.m. at Christ Community Church which meets at First Christian Church, 2500 University Ave, Des Moines.

Regina was born to Dan and Bonnie Hanon on May 30, 1950 in Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Kenneth Pilcher. Survivors include her brother, Bob Knutson of Estherville, IA; sisters, Florence Cook of Clive and Linda Hanon, Glenwood, IA; and many extended family members.

She had a special place in her heart for children, family, church and her fellow residents at the group home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Benevolence Fund of Christ Community Church.
