Service Details
Patrick Nugent, 61, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at his home. A private memorial service will be held Monday, March 4, 2013, at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
Patrick was born January 9, 1952, in Sioux City, IA, to Kathryn (Weisser) and William Nugent. He was a member of the Iowa Bar Association, and served in various positions as an attorney in Iowa and Minnesota. Patrick also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Gayle (Austin) Derfus and Jeanne (Todd) Gengerke; grandchildren, Troy and Sasha Derfus, and Charlie and Nora Gengerke; his brother, Tom (Janet) Nugent; and sister, Marge Nugent. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents.
