Kelly Venosky, 50, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at Taylor House Hospice.
Kelly was born October 28, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Robert Earl and Beverly Jean (Gale) Venosky. Kelly was employed by Neumann Construction and was a member of Labor Union Local 177. He enjoyed golf and socializing and lived life to its fullest. He spent his time working hard and playing hard. Kelly will be missed by many. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Annalyn.
Left to honor Kelly’s memory are his wife, Deb Venosky; step-sons, David (Jessica) Jones, Sr., and Justin (Amber) Jones; step-daughter, Felica Jones; six grandchildren; mother, Beverly Hiatt; brother, Bob (Bev) Venosky; sister, Becky McNew, all of Des Moines, Iowa; sister, Kathy (Terry) Hazelbaker of Lakeville, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Venosky; sister, Sheila (Jay) Watson; step-father, Walter Hiatt; and brother-in-law, John McNew.
Memorial service to be held at a later date.

Kathy, I just want to express my deepest sympathy to you and the rest of your family.
I didn't know Kelly as well, but if he is anything like you he had to be a terrific brother. He no longer is in pain and you just have another angel looking down and guarding all of you. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
May he rest in peace and perpetual light always shine upon him.

I remember Kelly the most as Kathy Hazelbaker's Little brother, He was adorable and ornery. I am sure he will be missed! Love and hugs to the Venosky Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
