Faye M. Willis

Faye Mable Willis passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines. Faye was born on August 8, 1920, in Worland, Wyoming, to Ethyl and Elmer Foreman.

Faye worked as supervisor in the housekeeping department for the Hilton Inn for many years. She was a loyal member of Fort Des Moines Presbyterian Church. She loved her “coffee clubs” with her family and neighborhood friends. She enjoyed socializing and will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends at the funeral home starting at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry (Barbara) Willis and Janice (Dick) Hansell; two grandchildren, Mindy (Daniel) Wright and Casey (Karen) Decker; five great-grandchildren, Cheyenne, Sierra, Noah, Grace, and Lily; and many other loving relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 67 years, Homer Alvin Willis; and her siblings, Ernest Foreman, Mildred Savage, Helen Joss, Claude Foreman, Donald Foreman, and Frances Greene.
