Steven Daughenbaugh

Steven Daughenbaugh, 61, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Steven was born November 8, 1951, in Des Moines, to Floyd and Mary Daughenbaugh. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Steven worked as a brakeman for several railroads. He enjoyed fishing.

Steven is survived by his wife, Marilyn; daughters, Stephanie and Mary Lu; sons, Chris, David, Bobby, and Paul; and their mother, Debbie Daughenbaugh; six grandchildren; siblings, Delores O’Donnell, Diane Fletcher, Tom Daughenbaugh, and Kathy Bixler; and many other extended relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, James Daughenbaugh and Mary Prall.

The family will greet friends Wednesday, February 27, 2013, from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m., at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street. Burial will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter at a later date.
