Kenneth Beatty

Kenny Beatty, 77, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, at his home in Des Moines. He was born February 6, 1936, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, to Harold and Noamie Beatty.

Kenny loved watching golf and hanging out at his job sites. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Kenny is survived by his daughters, Cindy Witt and Carrie Fippen; seven grandchildren, Kendra (Nathan), Scott, Jr. (Codi), Naythan, Heather (Cody), Nick, Melissa, and Stephanie; six great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Nick, Carmen, Vanessa, Austin, and Ashton; sister, Marilyn, and dear friend, Marv Nolte. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence; grandson, Christopher; and step-son, Michael.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with cremation following.
