Wilma “Willy” Coulthard, 94, passed away at Parkridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pleasant Hill, Wednesday, February 13, 2013.
Wilma was born December 10, 1918. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School where she was active in three-court basketball, jumping center, and softball. She enjoyed camping, needle work, watching ultimate fighting, dancing, gambling, gardening, and playing cards. Wilma worked for the Airport National Car Rental.
Wilma is survived by her children, Gail (Gary) Denning of Pleasant Hill, Carole Stevenson of Des Moines, and Fran (Gail) Coulthard of Tolleson, Arizona; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fran; parents, Charles and Minnie Etta Hogate; brother, Clark; and her sister, Julia Ray.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Oh I will miss you. I would always call you up every so often or you would call me. Bill and I enjoyed visiting with you and Fran. Then you lost Fran but you always called my Bill and visited with him. Then after I lost him then you and I would call each other. Bill first met Fran at Armstrong Rubber where they worked as Foremen in the Curing Dept. I will miss our talks. You were always so young I thought - I am 80 and I always thought you were around my age. I remember you telling me that you had a grandson who always came every so often and took you gambling. You really appreciated that and I think that was wonderful too. I will miss you
very much but I hope to be reunited with you someday. God Bless your family. This is a great loss for them.
