Joe Lou Patrick

Joe Lou Patrick, 82, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Joe was born May 7, 1930, in Osceola, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Joe retired from Firestone Tire after 38 years of service.

Joe is survived by his daughters, Mary Lane and Susan Grimm; granddaughters, Tanda Lawrence and Miranda Driscoll; step-grandchildren, Kristy Penick, Tina Barton, Brett Grimm, Scott Grimm, and Kirk Grimm; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Eternity, Guy, Tiffany, Jason, and Katelyn; step-great-grandchildren, Jerad, Jacob, Jesse, Joshua, Justin, Colton, Alexis, Brittany, Cassidy, Megan, Derek, Jordan, Austin, Caleb, and Kelsie; great-great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Elana; step-great-great-grandchildren, Owen, Carver, Abigail, Bo, Deegan, Maliah, Miley, and Rhiannon; and brother, Charles (Ione) Patrick. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Erma; parents, George and Lucinda (Phipps) Patrick; brother, George Patrick, Jr.; and his sister, Maude Josephine.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Heritage Assembly of God Church, 5051 NE 5th Street, followed by burial at Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the church.
