Patrick A. Ford

Patrick was born December 21, 1945 in Des Moines to Rolland “Doc” and Ruby Ford. He passed away at the age of 67 on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. A Celebration of Life visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. A private inurnment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Patrick lived a full life, sharing his passion for music, cars, and history with his children, along with his sense of humor, as expressed through such programs as Big Bang Theory and South Park. He and his wife, Brenda, shared a love for their family and friends telling stories and spending time together. They traveled across the country to keep in contact with family, from Arkansas to California.

Patrick is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Brenda; brother, Rolland Ford (wife Chris); sons, Todd, Howard, Patrick and Gary; daughter, Michelle and two grandchildren, William and Amanda.
