Deo Van Tom, 83, passed away at his home Sunday, February 10, 2013.
Tom was born April 16, 1929, in Than Uyen, North Vietnam, and later moved to Laos. He was a machine operator for Dickson Industries. Tom enjoyed working on his farm, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife, Leek Thi Deo; children, Theui Deo-Baccam, Thanh (Youn) Van Deo, Vern (Luck) Van Deo, Theun (Parita) Van Deo, Thiat Van Deo (Shen Lahey), Thoa (Susie) Van Deo, and Toukata (Mala) Vilayvong; brothers, Deo Van Po, Deo Van Ae, and Deo Van Tiem; sister, Deo Thi Chuong; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 5 p.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue.
