Cleo Carr

Cleo Carr, 91, died Monday, July 2, 2007 at Genesis Senior Living Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon St. Visitation will be held one hour to the service. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
Cleo was born October 13, 1915 in Thurber, Texas to Edward and Hattie Haskins. She retired from Blue Cross & Blue Shield after many years of service. Cleo was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Grimes. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cleo is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Reeves; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Carr and grandson, Keith Taylor.
The family would like to thank Genesis Senior Living Center for the kind compassionate care Cleo received while she was a resident there.
