Elvera Lipovac

Elvera Kae Lipovac, 85, passed away Sunday morning, July 1, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am Thursday, July 5, 2007 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
Vera was born April 19, 1922 in Wanlock, Iowa. She worked as a secretary at Look Magazine and was one of its last employees. Vera retired from the United States Justice Department as a secretary. She enjoyed traveling and going to Iowa football games.
Vera is survived by her sister, Mary Kerpon and brothers, Edward, Gene and Ray (Jayne) Lipovac. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wence and Mary Lipovac; sister, Kae Robb and brothers Milo, John, Vance, Steve and Maurice.
The family will greet friends from 5-7pm Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home where a rosary will be recited at 7pm. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in loving memory of Vera.
