Virginia Blaine

Virginia Rae Blaine, 76, passed away February 5, 2013, at Valley View Village in Des Moines. She was born December 1, 1936, in Exira, Iowa.

Virginia enjoyed solving crossword puzzles as well as spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Dale; sons, David and Steve; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Jerry.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, with burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Friday, also at the funeral home.
