Service Details

Ronald Charles Streeter, 73, died Monday, February 4, 2013. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2013, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5711 SW 9th Street. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., Thursday, February 7, at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Burial will take place at St. Andrews Cemetery in Saginaw, MI.

Ronald was born February 7, 1939, in Hemlock, Michigan, to Charles and Bernice (Graham) Streeter. He attended Hemlock school and graduated from Saginaw High, then attended Saginaw Business College. He retired from the Equitable Life Insurance after 35 years of service, and then worked part time at Bowlerama Lanes and Willow Creek golf course. He married Peggy Zlotnik April 14, 1977. Ron liked his hunting, fishing, dancing, and bowling. He was a member of Christ the King Church, and the Knights of Columbus 4th degree council 18159 and Dowling #263. He belonged to the Polka Club of Iowa, Za-Ga-Zig Shriners, Scottish rite 32 degree, East Gate Lodge #630, Golden Age Eagles Aerie #497, Duel member at Aerie 109, American Croatian Men’s Club, and the Croatian Fraternal Slavic Center.

Ronald is survived by his children, Roshelle (Cal) Brubaker, Ronald (Sandy) Streeter, II, Richard Streeter, and Roxanne Manifold; stepchildren, Steve Zlotnik, Scott (Amber) Zlotnik, Christine (Dustin) Beener, and Pamela (John) McWilliams, Jr.; sisters, Bonnie Hill and Joyce Buxman; brother, Robert (Peggy) Streeter; grandchildren, NIkkiTobey, Katie Mercer, Shawn Dean, Kayla Krahner, Renee Lang, Anthony Brubaker, Justin Streeter, Casey Streeter, Scott Streeter, Brittany Manifold, Avery Manifold, Ian Zlotnik, Grace Zlotnik and Dakota Beener and great grandchildren, Kendal Tobey, Ellie Dean and Mackenzie Mercer. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Kenneth Streeter.
