Abbie Peck

Abbie “Ginger” Peck, 93, of Des Moines died on June 30, 2007 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home.
Abbie loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, flowers and all sorts of animals. She was a wonderful woman who never complained and was completely devoted to her family, always being there for them. She was a member of the Capitol Heights Methodist Church and is survived by her children Darleen (Jack) Monahan of Des Moines, Jerry (Dianne) Peck of Runnells and Jim Peck of Des Moines as well as her numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Pearl Peck and daughter Joyce Epps.
